With lamspeed's focus on motorsport for the GR Yaris platform, what we have learnt in our many years of racing Mitsubishi Evos is that a reduction in rotational mass is King! Our first development product was to introduce an affordable 2 piece front floating brake rotor. 

Even though the OEM front brake rotors are essentially already 2 piece, we have started from scratch and designed our rotor to incorporate a billet centre hat with light weight fasteners.

Lamspeed has managed to reduce a massive weight saving of approximately 12% per brake rotor!

The benefits of our 2 piece floating rotors are not limited to just weight savings, it aids in heat dissipation, partly from the aluminium hat acting as a heat sink.
